Loving from Inside the House

Reconciliation is not weakness—it is spiritual maturity that refuses to let pride or offense have the final word. Like the father in the parable of the Prodigal Son, we are called to stay positioned, lead with compassion, and celebrate restoration when repentance appears. A lighthouse doesn’t chase ships or control storms; it simply stands anchored and keeps the light on. In the same way, we don’t let someone else’s wrongdoing darken our hearts. We remain steady in grace so that if and when they return, they can find their way home.
