Won't You Be My Neighbor
Feb 8, 2026 • Pastor Keith Alexander
This message returns us to the parable of the Good Samaritan to expose how easily we label people—and ourselves—through the narratives we write: villain, victim, or victor. Jesus disrupts those stories by removing the details we rely on to justify distance, judgment, or inaction. Instead of asking who deserves compassion, the Lord reframes the conversation with a far more personal and convicting question: “Won’t you be my neighbor?” It’s a call to move beyond labels and into love, reminding us that faithful discipleship isn’t about the role we claim—but the compassion we show.
