Blessed Assurance

John starts this passage by giving us, Christians, some assurances.

In my last message, we looked at 1 John chapter 4,

and we talked about how we can be assured of God’s love for us….

even though we may not feel worthy or we may not understand it…

we can be sure that God so loved the world. In this passage, John lays out our Christians' assurance of salvation and because we have this assurance, we can trust the Lord to help us keep his commands.
