Oil from the Pressing Place

Before God sends us into our purpose, He often allows seasons of pressing and testing that reveal what’s truly inside of us. Just like olives must be pressed to release oil, pressure in our lives exposes our natural responses while also releasing the anointing God has placed within us. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus shows us that honest struggle can lead to deeper surrender when we choose God’s will over our own. The pressing is not meant to break us—it prepares us, separates the natural from the spiritual, and produces the oil we need to fulfill our calling. If we remain faithful through the test, God’s anointing will empower us to accomplish what our own strength never could.
